A Wreath of Your Own
Bloom Culture is hosting a spring wreath workshop on March 28th in Calgary.
Bloom Culture is hosting a spring wreath workshop on March 28th and the short version is this: two hours, fresh seasonal materials, a finished wreath you take home, and a room full of people who also just wanted a reason to do something special this week.
The longer version is that the wreath you make is built from real greenery (think eucalyptus, variegated foliage, and small pink blooms, perhaps) selected for how they move and how they dry.
The composition is guided, meaning instructors are actually there, meaning you are not expected to already know what you’re doing.
This one is genuinely for everyone: the person who loves the emergent nature of gardening, the person who has been slowly making their home more their own, and the person who has never made anything and is simply ready to start.
The image is for inspiration. Your wreath will be its own thing. It will be shaped by what materials are available that week and the decisions you make in the room.
That variation is the nature of working with something fresh and seasonal, and also, arguably, the whole point.
